A RedTape Orlando Pop-Up Experience in Downtown

This July, we transformed the front windows of our RedTape Orlando Main Studio into a living art installation — a space where creation could be witnessed but not interrupted, where artists worked silently while the city watched from the outside.
Titled “What Becomes the Visible Silence,” this interactive pop-up invited onlookers to experience the intimacy of creation — quietly, curiously, and without commentary. Two storefront windows, two live artists, and one shared moment of presence.
🖌️ The Artists at Work
In one window, Peterson stood in near-stillness, brush in hand, as he brought to life a hauntingly expressive portrait on a vibrant yellow canvas. The piece unfolded stroke by stroke — no words, no distractions — just raw, focused energy on full display.
In the other window, Chris Jones shaped form from clay on a pottery wheel, spinning three vases throughout the evening. With hands coated in wet earth and intention, he molded silence into structure.
This wasn’t a performance in the traditional sense — it was an invitation to observe. To witness what usually happens behind closed doors, now made public without performance or spectacle.
📹 Couldn't Make It? We Went Live
We livestreamed the entire event, so if you missed it, don’t worry — there’s more where that came from. Be sure to follow us on Instagram @RedTapeOrlando so you never miss another drop, reveal, or experience again.
🎨 Why It Matters
At RedTape, we believe in creating not just art, but moments.“What Becomes the Visible Silence” was our way of turning a typical Tuesday into a meditative, creative pause in the middle of the city — a reminder that beauty is always being made, even if no one's narrating it.
👁🗨 Stay Tuned
This was just the beginning of our Window Series at RedTape HQ.We’re reimagining how art meets the public — not on pedestals, but in real time. Keep watching (literally).
